Yuva Udyoga Sethu may display employment opportunities and provide job recommendations based on information available in the Candidate's profile, including qualifications, skills, experience, preferences, location and other relevant information.
Job recommendations are intended to assist the Candidate in identifying potentially relevant opportunities. A recommendation does not constitute an assurance that the Candidate satisfies all requirements of the vacancy or will be shortlisted, interviewed, selected or employed.
9. Job Applications
The Candidate is responsible for reviewing the details of a vacancy before submitting an application.
Submission of a job application does not guarantee shortlisting, interview, selection or employment.
10. Additional Information and Documents
Where additional information or documents are required for a particular vacancy or recruitment process, the Candidate may be asked to provide such information at the appropriate stage.
11. Recruitment Process
The Candidate may receive recruitment-related communications and actions through Yuva Udyoga Sethu, including invitations to apply, application-status updates, interview invitations, offers and joining-related communications.

13. No Guarantee of Employment
Registration on Yuva Udyoga Sethu, creation of an employment profile, receipt of a job recommendation, receipt of an invitation to apply, submission of an application, shortlisting or participation in an interview does not guarantee selection or employment.
Recruitment and selection decisions shall be made by the concerned Employer in accordance with its recruitment requirements and applicable law.
14. Job Offers
The Candidate shall carefully review the terms of any employment offer received through Yuva Udyoga Sethu, including the designation, place of work, remuneration, employment type, proposed date of joining and other employment conditions.
The Candidate may accept or decline the offer or seek clarification through the facility provided on the portal.
Acceptance of an offer does not by itself constitute confirmation that the Candidate has joined the organisation.
15. Withdrawal of Job Application
The Candidate may withdraw an application where the portal permits withdrawal.
Such withdrawal shall apply to the specified application and shall be recorded through the applicable workflow.
16. Job Safety and Fraudulent Recruitment
Candidates should exercise reasonable care when considering employment opportunities and should report any vacancy, communication or Employer that appears fraudulent, misleading or suspicious through the reporting or grievance facility provided on Yuva Udyoga Sethu.
Employers are prohibited from falsely representing that any fee, deposit or payment is required by Yuva Udyoga Sethu or the Government of Karnataka.
17. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information provided by the Candidate shall be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Notice and applicable law.
The Privacy Notice shall separately explain the purposes for which information is collected and processed and the applicable mechanisms for managing or withdrawing consent where applicable.
Acceptance of these Terms of Use shall not constitute blanket consent for every processing or sharing activity involving the Candidate's personal information. Where specific consent is required, it shall be obtained separately for the relevant purpose and at the appropriate stage.
18. Sharing of Candidate Information
Candidate information shall be made available to Employers or other authorised recipients only in accordance with applicable portal functionality, profile-visibility settings, consent, approved purpose and access controls.

21. Aadhaar Authentication
Where Aadhaar authentication is used, it shall be undertaken through the approved authorised mechanism.
The required Aadhaar-specific consent shall be obtained separately immediately before authentication and shall not be treated as having been provided merely because the Candidate accepted these Terms of Use.

The information and credentials provided by the organisation may be verified through authorised Government or approved sources for establishing the authenticity and eligibility of the organisation to use Yuva Udyoga Sethu.
Specific consent for such verification shall be obtained separately before the applicable verification process is initiated.
The Employer account may remain pending or restricted from specified activities until the required verification is successfully completed. The product requirements provide that unverified employers cannot publish live jobs.

8. Vacancy Management
The Employer shall maintain accurate and current information relating to vacancies published through Yuva Udyoga Sethu.

13. Candidate Search and Recommendations
Yuva Udyoga Sethu may provide candidate search, filtering, matching and recommendation facilities to eligible Employers.
Candidate search and recommendations shall be limited to Candidates and profile information that the Employer is authorised to access under applicable consent, visibility and portal access rules.
Recommendations provided by the portal are intended to assist recruitment and shall not replace the Employer's responsibility for reviewing and making recruitment decisions. The portal's AI-assisted recommendations are not intended to make autonomous hiring or rejection decisions.
14. Confidentiality and Protection of Candidate Information
The Employer shall take reasonable measures to protect personal information of Candidates accessed or received through Yuva Udyoga Sethu against unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration or loss.
The Employer shall not disclose or transfer Candidate information to an unauthorised person or entity.

Where the Employer confirms joining and placement, it shall ensure that the candidate has actually joined against the specified vacancy and that the joining date and placement particulars entered on the portal are true and correct to the best of its knowledge.
Where a selected candidate does not join, the Employer shall update the applicable non-joining status accurately.

Privacy Policy
1. What this policy covers
This policy describes how Yuva Udyoga Sethu handles information. The portal is run for the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood Department, Government of Karnataka.
2. Browsing without an account
You can read open vacancies without an account. The portal does not ask for your name or address merely to browse. If you choose to give information, it is used only to fulfil the request you made.
3. Technical details recorded on a visit
A visit may record technical details automatically: the domain and IP address of the connection, the browser and operating system, the date and time, the pages opened, files downloaded, and the site you came from, if any. This is used to see how many people use the portal and what technology they use, so the site can be made more useful. It is not used for commercial marketing. A visitor who is only browsing is not personally identified, except when a court directs it or the law requires it.
4. If you create an account or contact us
If you register, apply for a job, post a vacancy, or write to support, you provide personal information such as your mobile number, email address, name, profile, and the message or application itself. That information is used only to answer you and to run the portal: to create your account, show suitable jobs, send an application to the employer you chose, tell you about applications and shortlists, verify an employer, and keep the service working. It is not used to build profiles for commercial marketing. It is shared with another government agency only when your question is for that agency, with the employer when you apply, with the services that send your OTP, email, or alerts, and when the law requires it. A message you send is not added to a mailing list and is not disclosed for any other purpose. Do not add personal details a form does not ask for. The portal does not store Aadhaar numbers or PAN numbers. If a question asks whether you have one, only your yes or no answer is stored.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small data file a website places on your browser. Yuva Udyoga Sethu uses functional cookies only: one so you can stay signed in, one to remember English or Kannada, and one to record that you accepted these terms when you signed in. They are not used to recognise you for advertising, and they are not used to build a marketing profile. The sign-in cookie lasts until you sign out or the session ends. The language cookie remembers your choice on this device.
6. Website security
To keep the portal available to everyone, to block unauthorised access, and to stop information being damaged or changed, the portal uses security software and manages traffic. Except for a court or another lawful authority, no attempt is made to identify a person who is only browsing. No unauthorised person may add or change information on the portal. That can have legal consequences under the Information Technology Act, 2000, including a penalty.
7. How long information is kept
Visitor logs are deleted on a regular schedule. Account information is kept while the account is active. Notifications in the portal expire after 7 days. A message you send is kept only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of that request. When you delete your account, personal identifiers are erased or anonymised.
8. Your choices
From your account settings you can see your information, correct it, download a copy, or delete the account. Deleting the account withdraws consent to keep using your personal data for the portal.
9. Questions
If you are unsure about this policy, or you want to ask about your information, use Help on the portal.
